Rule: A triangle is followed by a square in the pattern.
l Increasing pattern in number

Rule: One ‘A’ is added each time.
l Increasing pattern in number as well as in size
Rule: One more circle is added each time and the new circle is bigger than the
previous ones.
l Increasing pattern in size
Rule: The size of a circle is increased each time.
l Decreasing pattern in number
Rule: One dot (l) is decreased each time.
l Decreasing pattern in size
Rule: The size of a square is reduced each time.
l number patterns
The above rules can be applied for number patterns also.

a. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 b. 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20
